Description
Four flute end mills are versatile, general purpose tools for slotting, profiling and contour milling in applications where chip packing is not a problem. The increased core thickness of 4-flute tools results in less tool deflection and improved size accuracy, while the reduced chip load gives improved surface finishes. Advanced aluminum titanium nitride coating (AlTiN). Maintains hardness at high cutting temperatures. Cutting heat oxidizes the coating to form a highly protective layer of aluminum oxide. Enables dry machining of many materials. Recommended for hard steels, stainless steels, carbon steels and other applications generating high cutting temperatures
